Legends Roofing Co. Installs New Roof at Heacock Residence
The loss of police officers in Seattle, Lakewood and Pierce County hit the community hard at the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.
In what can only be described as a horrible twist of fate, the daughter of one of Pierce County Deputy Kent Mundell's fellow officers was
involved in a traffic accident while travelling home from college to be with her family and to attend officer Mundell's memorial service.
Now, Richelle Heacock is paralyzed from the chest down and is facing a very long recovery. Legends Roofing has joined with other local
contractors to help the Heacock family with needed renovations to its home to
accommodate Richelle once she is released from the hospital.
On Thursday and Friday, February 4th and 5th, a crew from Legends Roofing installed a new standing seam metal roof on the Heacock’s residence as a part of a larger effort to both upgrade the home and to prepare it for the arrival of Richelle Heacock from the hospital.
To find out more about the scope of the whole project or to help with the efforts, please check out the
Heacock website.
Here are a few photos taken during the project.
